Delta Confluence Drive

Project Overview

Hamon Infrastructure partnered with the City of Delta to construct the Delta Alternate Truck Route, also called Delta Confluence Drive, which is approximately 14,156 feet of roadway that re-routes traffic from the north end to the south end of the City of Delta. The project included the construction of two bridges. One bridge was over 1st Street and UPRR Mainline Tracks, the other over UPRR Spur line tracks. This project demonstrates Hamon’s experience in a CM/GC role with Lead Designer, Stantec, and the City of Delta. This alternate delivery method saved an estimated 4 million dollars during the design and construction process. Additional project features included the following: A pedestrian underpass 8,500 linear feet of storm drainage 8,800 track feet of UPRR Rail Main Line 60in storm boring under UPRR railroad tracks 155,000 cubic yards of earthwork 51, 000 SF of MSE walls
