Hamon Infrastructure was awarded a contract by Plenary to repair the concrete pavement in the I-25 HOV/HOT lanes. This unique project required full depth concrete pavement repair and crack repair along 3.6 miles of I-25 Tolled Lanes through Denver and concrete pavement repair and crack repair along 1.9 miles of US 36 Tolled Lanes from I-25 to Federal Blvd. Additionally, Hamon performed mill and overlay of 1.1 miles of the I-25 Tolled Lanes from 29th Street to 44th Avenue through Denver.
Background
All of the work took place on a toll road for a client who was very sensitive to the impact of construction operations on its customers and revenue stream. By planning the work during periods of low usage, and paying particular attention to repairs required at Plenary’s tolling plaza, Hamon completed these repairs in 3.5 months while minimizing the impact on Plenary Road’s customers.
Hamon Infrastructure accepted the challenges of limited access to the work area, traffic congestion and a work plan sensitive to the convenience of Plenary’s customers and submitted a Competitive Price that Plenary accepted. No Other Contractors Chose to Accept these Challenges. No Other Contractor Offered to Perform this Difficult Project. Hamon Infrastructure met these challenges head-on and delivered a successful project for Plenary Roads.
